Lady
Margaret
Lady Margaret - alter ego of the Natural's Artistic Director Ralph Oswick - is a noble citizen of Bath, supporter of the arts and ambassador of all things fine and British. She has graced many a British Embassy function throughout the world and was even granted an audience with the President of Costa Rica.
She
has hosted her own Radio 4 series, treating her listeners to the wit and
wisdom of her songs and cultural banter, as well as introducing her fine
upstanding nephew Penkivil, her butler Clench and other members of her household.
Lady Margaret and her nephew Penkivil occasionally host musical tea parties, entitled 'One Lump or Two?', in which she personally supervises the distribution of tea and cucumber sandwiches. Guests have the chance to sip their Lapsang in refined surroundings, accompanied by witty songs and cultural anecdotes.
This dowager patron of the arts is also available to open fetes, arts centres etc. She has her own strong views on most subjects and engages everyone in heated conversation. She often arrives in her chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce, accompanied by her aged retainer.
No occasion is complete (or grand enough) without the presence of Lady Margaret, VVIP
The formidable Lady M recently appeared in the theatre where she led her Society of Spiritualist Ladies to "the other side" in Scarlatti in Paradise.
